AmericanswilllongrememberPresidentAbrahamLincoln,the16thPresidentoftheUnitedStates.

Attheageof19,AbrahamLincolntookaboatdowntheOhioRivertoNewOrleans.ThereLincolnsawforthefirsttimeslavesbeingsoldinthemarketplace.Atthattime,Lincolnmadeuphismindtoworktoendslaveryfortherestofhislife.
