Clearly,thedrawerofthesecartoonswishestorevealtheproblemofunhappinessinthepresentworld,particularlyinChina.
Manyreasonshavebeenlistedasleadtothiswide-spreadunhappinessinChina,butinmyopinion,highpressureandinsatiableneedsarethetwoprimaryfactorscontributingtothisproblem.Generallyspeaking,fromthemomenttheyareborn,Chinesepeoplewillbeputinastressfulandstrainedenvironmentwherecompetitioncanbedenotedasthekeywordfortheirdailylife.Theyhavetocompeteagainstallotherstobeadmittedintoaselectivehighschoolandthentoarenowneduniversity,toobtainawell-paidjobwithidealworkingconditions,andtogetanearlierpromotion,etc.Andarethewinnersofthesecompetitionshappy?
No,becausetheyarenotfullysatisfiedwithwhatthey’vegot.Theythinktheyarecapableofobtainingmore.Theywanttoreachahigherleveloflife,whichtheythinkshouldbereachableiftheytry.This,however,inevitablyinvolvestheminanotherroundofcompetition,whichformsaviciouscycleandmaybringadverseeffectstotherestoftheirlives.Withalloftheseburdens,thereisnowonderthatChinesepeoplearenothappy.
