carsdriveby,andnearlylandsonaman'sshoulder.Hewalksacrossthe

street,causingthefeathertobewhiskedbackonitsjourney.

Thefeatherfloatsaboveastoppedcar.Thecardrivesoffrightasthe

featherfloatsdowntowardthestreet.

Thefeatherfloatsunderapassingcar,thenissentflyingbackupin

theair.

AMANsitsonabusbench.Thefeatherfloatsabovethegroundand

finallylandsontheman'smud-soakedshoe.Themanreacheddownand

picksupthefeather.

HisnameisFORRESTGUMP.Helooksatthefeatheroddly,movesasidea

boxofchocolatesfromanoldsuitcase,thenopensthecase.Insidethe

oldsuitcaseareanassortmentofclothes,aping-pongpaddle,toothpaste

andotherpersonalitems.Forrestpullsoutabooktitled"Curious

George,"thenplacesthefeatherinsidethebook.Forrestclosesthe

suitcase.SomethinginhiseyesrevealsthatForrestmaynotbeall

there.Forrestlooksrightasthesoundofanarrivingbusisheard.

Abuspullsup.Forrestremainsonthebusbenchasthebuscontinueson.
