每个Project板块都给我们提供了一

个语言材料,但每个语言材

料的功能并不一样,因此,处理语言材料的侧重点也

不一样。

本课所提供的语篇旨在给学生提供一些信息:

成为奥运会的运动项目必须具备什么样的条件;哪些运动项

目被剔除出来及其原因;哪些被剔出来后,又进入奥运会及

其原因;哪些运动项目正在申请过程中。

了解到这些信息后,

要求学生完成本课的project:

如何让一个运动项目进入奥运项目;要掌握的文体是应用文

—演讲。

整体思路:

1、引入话题:

通过设计一些与奥运相关的常识性问

题及目前奥运会已有的运动项目,使学生对奥运项目有初步

印象。

2、谈论奥运会已有项目中,学生喜欢的项目及不喜

欢的项目。

为后面的教学步骤EnterringanewsportintoOlympics做铺垫。

3、谈论学生喜欢但不在奥运项目中的体育运动。

4、提出问题:

想不想让自己喜欢的运动项目入选奥

运项目,怎样才能使它成为奥运项目,要具备什么条件,

5、阅读文本:

以上问题的提出使“阅读”成为必要,

也激发了学生的阅读动机。

让学生阅读文本后,获得上述信

息。

6、进一步细读课文,设计文章结构图表,让学生将

所读的信息条理化,帮助学生有条理地积累语言材料。
