One,thebasicprocessof3Gnetworkoptimization

Operatorsaimistobuildaprofitablenetwork,theyareveryconcernedaboutthenetworkconstruction,expansionandupgradeintheprocessofinvestmentcostanditsfinalperformance,buttheexpansion,upgradecostsandnetworkperformanceisapairofcontradiction.Constructioncostbudgetandcontrolcangetrelativelyaccuratenumerical,buttheperformanceofthenetworkiscomposedofmanysubjectiveandobjectivefactors.Ononehand,thenetworkcapacityexpansion,upgradingandupgradestoexistinguserscanguaranteethenormaluse,ontheotherhand,italsocanprovidecompetitivenewbusiness,andmakesfurtherexpansion,upgradingandupgradescanbecarriedoutsmoothly.Inthisway,thenetworkoptimizationbecomesalong-term,iterativeprocess.

Networkoptimizationshouldbeabletoaccordingtotheoperator'sspecificneedsbymeansofsoftwaretoolautomatically,canalsothroughmanualinterventiontoachievethecapacity,coverage,QoSensureabalancepoint.3Gnetworksystemstructureisshowninfigure1.Generally,networkandincludes3levels:

OnNodeB,themobilestationperformanceindicatorsforreal-timecalculationandsimulation,includingfastpowercontrol,rapidcongestionresolved,wirelesslinkadaptive,channelallocation;

Realtimeloadanalysisandcontrol;

Basedonexperienceorstatisticalresults,throughroadshow,networkoptimizationsoftwarefornetworkperformanceprediction.

Infrontof2levels,inthenetworkiscompleted,bythenetworkmanagementsystemthroughtheonlinemonitoringandstatisticsinrealtimeautomaticadjustment,whilethethirdlevelistheneedforprofessionalstocarryout,alsoisweoftensaythatthenetworkoptimization.

Artificialnetworkoptimizationcanbedividedintothefollowingseveralsteps:

Firstofall,theoperatorshouldbebasedontheirowncharacteristicsthedefinitionofagoodnetworkoptimizationiscompletedtoachievethegoal,whichdeterminetheabovementioned"balancepoint",includingpoint-to-pointqualityobjectives,differentbusinesstypesofperformanceindicatorsandrelatedKPI(keyperformanceindicators)ofvariousvalues;later,theexistingnetworkperformanceindexdataacquisition,throughavarietyofchannels,suchasnetworkmanagementsystemandtheconvergencedevicefeedback,protocolanalyzersandevenmaintenancedepartmentcustomercomplaintssuchassummary,inconclusion,shouldbethroughavarietyofways,usingavarietyofmeans,collectingmoredata,theanalysisresultisaccurate.

Thecollecteddataisinputtothenetworkplanningsoftwareanalysis,cangeneratethecurrentnetworkstatus,orachievesomeindexesareneededfornetworkconfiguration.Intheprocessofsystemsimulation,someresultsintheinitialanalysisiscomplete,theerrorwillberelativelylarge,atthistime,someparametersarefine-tuned,localiterativeanalysisofsystem,itwasrepeatedlymodified,willeventuallygetaccurateresults.

Networkoptimizationtoachievethepurposeofincluding:

improvingnetworkcoverage,reducethesystemcalldroprate,lossrate,improvetheswitchingsuccessrate,onNodeBloadadjustment,optimizationofNodeBpilotfrequencydistribution.Optimizationofindicatorsinclude:

NodeBsectortransmissionpower,antennaheightandangle,theadjacentNodeBpositionandthepilotsignal,theadjacentNodeBpilotsearchwindowsize,triggerswitchthresholdvalue.

Intheprocessofnetworkoptimization,weneedtousedifferenttools,andthesetoolshavedifferenteffects.

1planningsoftware

Indetailsimulationprocess,wewillbeneworexpansion,upgradingthesiteinformationinputtotheelectronicmap.Throughrepeatedsimulationandtuning,resultinginsomeconstraints(suchassitelocation,determiningfixedconfiguration),optimalcoverage,capacity,qualityofserviceindicators.Landuseplanningsoftwareoptimizationstage,throughthesimulationtodeterminethesystemfactorsinclude:

NodeBsite,typeofantenna,antennaangle.Onthebasisoftheexistingnetworkexpansion,upgrade,theoperatorisalwaysconcernedwithoptimizationiscompleted,thenewcapacitycanachievethesimulationpredictedvalue.

2networkmanagementsystem

Networkmanagementsystemistomonitornetworkperformance,thesystemdataacquisition.Itcanbeshownthatthedistributionbusiness,thebusinesssuchasthequalityofcalllossratestatistics,therefore,canhelpthemaintenanceengineerforfaultlocation.

QoSindexesarerelativelyflexible,accordingtoKPIrequirementsorcostcontrolrequirements,canbeidentifiedinthecorrespondingQoSindex.Theconstraintsinclude:

hardwareresources(channelcapacityconfiguration),softwareresources(interferencecaps),calllossrate,droppedcallrate,callrate,handoversuccessrate,theuplink/downlinkchannelload,dataretransmission/delay,dataandcircuittypebusinessrateetc..Tomeettheserequirements,networkmanagementsystemshouldhavethefollowing3functions:

(1)monitoringnetworktrafficandperformance;

(2)real-timefaultdetectionandrapidpositioning,inordertoimprovethequalityofservice;

(3)automaticallycollected,aggregateddatarequiredfornetworkplanning.

3simulationtoolsoftware

Aimingattheexistingnetworkoperation,throughthespecializedtestsoftwaretools,wecandrawsomeareaorthewholenetworkperformance,throughsimulationanalysissoftware,thevariousindicatorsofclassificationstatistics,networkoptimizationengineertodoadetailedassessmentoftheoverallnetworkperformance.Analysissoftwarethroughthenetworkaccesstowirelesslinkindex,totalco-channelinterference,andstatisticalanalysis.Someofthesedataisrandom,suchasamobilestationtoareceivinglevelvalue,receiving/transmittingpower.Whilesomeotherindicatorsarestatic,suchasswitchingtime,switchingrateofsuccess,thestatisticalanalysisoftheresultscanhelpthenetworkoptimizationengineerontheexistingnetworkconditionshaveaclearunderstanding,andtargetedfornetworkoptimization.

Networkplanningandoptimizationisarepeatedoperation,accordingtotheactualsituationandneeds,whicharetheoreticallyanalyzedandcalculated,andthroughthepracticeofrepeatedlycorrecting.

Intwo,WCDMAandTD-SCDMAnetworkoptimizationofsimilaritiesanddifferences

Ingeneral,theconfigurationofhardwaredesignandplanningandproductparametershavedirectrelation,suchasaradiolinkantennagain,isolation,basebandsignalelectricequality.Thisaspectoftheplanninganddesigntotheantennaazimuth,pitchangle,heightetc..Radioresourcemanagement(RRM)includesswitchingcontrol,powercontrol,control,loadcontrolandsoon.Andaccordingtothedifferentbusinessmodel,channelmodeandsystem,designandoptimizationsoftwaretousedifferentalgorithms.For3Gsystem,3kindsofinternationalstandard,inthebusinessmodel,channelmodelofthetwoisexactlythesame,butthesystemindifferentwirelessmodulation,differentphysicallayertechnologydeterminesthedifferentradiopropagationmodel.

TheTD-SCDMAand3GPPrecommendedbytheother3Gstandards,technicaldifferencesreflectedinthesmartantenna,jointdetection,uplink/downlinksynchronization,specialframestructureetc..Therefore,networkplanningandoptimizationwithothersysteminthereferencemodelisslightlydifferent,andamongthem,thesmartantennaisintroducedtoanalysisresult.

Therefore,fortheTD-SCDMAsystem,networkoptimizationmoreshouldconsiderthechannelallocationalgorithm,intelligentantennaindicatorfeatures.Below,weontheTD-SCDMAandWCDMAoptimizationinseveralwaysarecompared.

The1switch

Switchdesignforeachmobilecommunicationnetworkareveryimportant.Fromcybersourceuseefficiencyperspective,mobilestationnotinthebestbusinesssector,largelyinfluencethequalityofthebusiness.Forexample,aNodeBpilotsignalistoostrong,aroundthemobilestationwilloftenswitchtothesector,causingtheNodeBwirelessresourcesareoccupied,thesystemloadistoolarge,willincreasetheareaofthedroprate,atthesametime,areaoftheinterferencesbetweenmobilestationswillincrease.

InthesystemofWCDMA,samefrequencyswitchingusingsoftswitching(soft/softerhandoff)manner,inTD-SCDMA,istheuseofrelayswitching(BatonHandover),whichisakindofhardswitchingandsoftswitchingbetweenaswitchingmode.TD-SCDMAisalsooneofthecoretechnologiesinmobilecommunicationsystem.Itsdesignconceptistheuseofsmartantennaanduplinksynchronizationtechnology,themobilestationdistanceandazimuthpositioningbasedonmobilestation,accordingtothebearinganddistanceinformationasauxiliaryinformationtodeterminewhetherthemobilestationmobiletobeswitchedbetweenadjacentNodeBneighborhood.Ifthemobilestationenterstheswitchingregion,RNCnotifiestheNodeBtoswitchtoprepare,soastoachieverapid,reliableandefficientswitchingpurposes.Thisprocessisatrackandfieldcompetitionintherelayracerelaybaton,figuregroundsaysforrelayswitch.Relayswitchwithintelligentantennaanduplinksynchronizationtechnology,softswitchinghighsuccessrateandhardswitchinghighchannelutilizationtogether,isagoodsystemperfo
