Thismorning,myforeignteacherTimandIplannedtogotothePeople’sParktoenjoyourselves.Wetookataxianditwasn’tlongbeforewearrivedatthegateofthepark.Onseeingthegreentreesandbloomingflowers,Timcouldn’twaittotakepictures.Itwasatthatmomentthatwefoundhiscamerawasgone.Hesearchedalloverhisbackpackbutjustcouldn’tfindit.Suddenlyitoccurredtomethathemighthaveleftitinthetaxi.Withanxietyandhope,wefoundouttheinvoiceofthetaxi,onwhichaphonenumberwasprinted,soIimmediatelygotintouchwiththetaxicompany.Abouthalfanhourlater,thedriverreturnedwiththecameraandyoucouldimaginethewidesmilespreadingacrossTim’sface.Bothofusweregratefultothedriver,andTim,inparticular,insistedontakingaphotowithhim.
TimandIenjoyedourselvesduringtherestoftheday,butitwasthattaxidriverwhomadeourday.
