Ducd'Orléans）是从1344年开始使用的一个法国贵族爵位，以其最初的封地奥尔良命名。

这一称号主要被授予王室的亲王。

DukeofOrléans（French:

Ducd'Orléans）wasoneofthehighestrankingtitlesoftheFrenchpeerageanddatesbacktothe14thcentury.Knownasprincesoftheblood（princesdusang）,thetitleofDukeofOrleanswasexclusivetoprincesofthenearestcollaterallineoftheroyalfamily;thustheyconstitutedajuniorbranchoftherulinghouse,secondinseniorityonlytomembersoftheprimaryline.

Duringtheperiodoftheancienrégimetheholderofthetitleoftenassumedapoliticalrole.TheOrléanscametothethronewithLouisXII（15thcentury）.LouisPhilippeII,fifthDukeofOrleans,contributedtothedestructionoftheancienregime.Attheheadofaretrospectivelynamed'Orleanist'factioncentredonthePalaisRoyal,hecontestedtheauthorityofhiscousinLouisXVIintheadjacentLouvre.Itwashissonwhowouldeventuallyascendthethronein1830followingtheJulyRevolutionasLouis-PhilippeI,KingofFrance.ThedescendantsofthefamilyaretheOrléanistpretenderstotheFrenchthrone,andthetitlehasbeenusedbyseveralmembersoftheHouse.TheholderofthetitleheldthestyleofSereneHighness.

ItwasPhilippeandhissecondwife,thefamouscourtwriterElizabethCharlotteofthePalatinate,foundedthemodernHouseofOrléans-theirsurvivingsonbeingtheRegentofFrancefortheyoungLouisXV.

AsaFilsdeFrance,PhilippewasstyledasPhilippeofFrance（PhilippedeFrance）.Uponhisdeath,hissoninheritedbutasonlyaPetit-FilsdeFrance（GrandsonofFranceviaLouisXIII）hehadtoreverttothesur姓名ofOrléans.PhilippeIdeFrancewasaddressedasRoyalHighness（SonAltesseroyale）aswashissonPhilippeII.PhilippeIwasalsoknownasMonsieurathisbrotherscourt.AtthedeathofPhilippeII,hissonLouisd'OrléanstookthetitleandtookonthestyleofSereneHighnessastheheadofthecadetbranchoftheHouseofBourbon.Hissonandgrandsonwouldtakeonthestyleontheirsuccessions.After1709,theOrléansbranchoftheHouseofBourbonweretheFirstPrincesoftheBlood-thismeantthatthedukescouldbeaddressedasMonsieurlePrinceandthat,shouldtherebenopossilbleheirstothethroneofFrance,thentheOrléansfamilycouldclaimit.姓名
