英语演讲与辩论社团社团建立刍议辽宁省实验中学北校区初中部英语演讲与辩论社团Englishpublicspeaking&debateLeagueofLiaoningprovinceShiyanmiddleschool（juniormiddleschoolinthenorthsection）一、社团宗旨TheaimoftheEnglishpublicspeaking&debateLeague英语演讲与辩论社团的宗旨是：

ThroughdebateandpublicspeakingtheoralEnglishandlogicalwayofthinkingofthestudents’willbeimproved;thehorizonwillbebroadened;thespiritwillbeenlightened.ItwillenablethemtothinkandjudgeinrealsituationsbymeansofEnglish,bytheway,theirwillfindconfidencewhencommunicateordeliveraspeech.ThisLeaguewillfullytaketheroleofstudents’secondclass,inthisway,acommongroundwillbeestablishedforthestudentstogivethemachancetoknowandlearnfromeachotherandgainfriendshipthere.通过辩论、演讲等活动形式加强社员的英语口语表达能力和逻辑思辨能力、开阔社员视野，启迪社员心智。

英语演讲与辩论社团充分发挥学生第二课堂作用，让成员们在英语口语交流中互相了解，建立友谊，为热爱英语的同学搭建交流平台。

二、社团常规活动RegularactivitiesofLeague1、社团活动时间Timeforactivities--------2、活动地点Placeforactivities--------3、三分钟演讲（threeminutespresentation）：

英语演讲是英语语言的组织能力的综合运用。

演讲与辩论社团指导学生如何进行英语演讲与辩论，每次课前进行“三分钟演讲”，给学生提供感兴趣的话题，使学生掌握演讲技巧，并积累大量词汇。

同时，鼓励学生参加中学生英语演讲比赛，在比赛中得到锻炼和提高。
