Anotherdevelopmentthathasfavored“greygamers”isachangeinthetypeofvideogamesavailableonthemarket.There’sagreatervarietyofgamestochoosefrom,includingmoreintellectualandcomplexstrategy(策略)andsimulation(模拟)games.InternetChessandTrainSimulatorareamongthemostpopularofthese.TrainSimulatorisbasedonreal-worldrailactivities.Playerscanchoosefromavarietyofchallengers,suchaskeepingtoastricttimetableandusinghelperenginesduringawinterstorm.

Somepeoplearguethat“greygamers”simplydon’thavetheskillsrequiredforcomputergames,andthatteenagersarebetter.Thiscouldn’tbefurtherfromthetruth.Mostcomputergamesrequirethekindofanalyticalthinkingthatimproveswithpractice,whichmeansthatthe“greygamers”maywellbefarbetterthangamershalfacenturyyoungerthanthem.Ingameswherespeedisthemainconsideration,olderpeoplewouldbeatadisadvantagebecausetheymayhaveslowerreactiontime.Ontheotherhand,“greygamers”haveapreferenceforslowerpaced,mindchallenginggames.

Theprocessofdonatingstemcellsisactuallyverysimple.In90%ofcases,donorsareaskedtodonatetheirbloodstemcells,theother10%willgivetheirbonemarrow.Lotsofdonorssaythatboththesethingsarevirtuallypainfree,andnothingtobescaredabout.Beingabonemarrowdonorshouldbesomethingtobeproudof,aseverydonorhasanopportunitytosavesomeone’slife!
