TheEnglishtestwillberemovedfromChina’scollegeentranceexamby2020,accordingtodetailsofexamandadmissionreformrevealedbytheMinistryofEducation.Thenationalcollegeentranceexam,knownasthe“Gaokao”hasbeenusedtoevaluateChinesestudentsforthreedecades.TheMinistryofEducationhasworkedoutaplanforreformingexamsandenrollment.TheMinistrywillsolicit（征求）publicopinionsbeforeitsrelease.Instead,testswillbeheldseveraltimesayeartoallowstudentstochoosewhenandhowoftentheysittheexamsoastoalleviatestudypressureandchangeChina’sonce-in-a-lifetimeexamsystem.
