Inthefirstpartofthetest,theinterlocutoraddresseseachcandidateinturnandasksgeneralquestions.Candidateswillnotbeaddressedinstrictsequence.Thispartofthetestlastsaboutthreeminutesandduringthistime,candidatesarebeingtestedontheirabilitytotalkaboutthemselves,toprovidepersonalinformationontheirhome,interestsandjobs,andtoperformfunctionssuchasagreeinganddisagreeing,andexpressingpreferences.
