Abstract
ThepapermainlyfocusesonhowtouseTotalPhysicalResponseApproachtoteachkindergartenbeginnersofEnglishlettersABC.ItaimstosolvethecurrentproblemsinteachingABCofEnglishbeginners,subsequentlyputsforwardsomecorrespondingsuggestionsforkindergartenteachers.InordertopromoteTPRapproachinappropriateway,teachersshouldapplywithvariousmethodsinteachingABC,suchasperformance,drawing,gaming,singing,andcompetition.Besides,thepaperisbuiltupwithacasestudyforchildrenandEnglishteachers.Fromtheabovemethodsmentioned,childrenwillhavestrongintereststolearnABCletterswell,whichwillalsoincreaseteachers’creationandimagination.

摘要
本文着重研究了如何使用全身反应法来教幼儿园里的英语初学者英语字母ABC。
为了解决英语字母教学中的现状及问题,本文将为儿童英语教师提出一系列的建议。
同时,为了把全身反应法使用得当,教师应使用不同的方式教学,例如表演,画画,游戏,唱歌和竞争。
另外,论文基于对幼儿英语字母教学的实验,来证明使用全身反应法能够使孩子对英语产生兴趣并乐意学,以及促使儿童英语教师更富有创造力和想象力。

1.Introduction
Withthedramaticallyrapiddevelopmentofeconomyandscience,thewindoflearningEnglishhassweptthewholekindergartensinChina.AndrecentyearshavewitnessedplentyofEnglishclassesopened,somebecomingsuccessful,whilemostofEnglishclassesendinginfailure.AndasthefirststepoflearningEnglishforkindergartenchildren,ABCplaysasignificantroleinmakingchildrenadapttotheirsecondlanguage.“ABClettershaveirreplaceablevalueindailylife”(Zheng,1979),whileitisdifficulttofindthemostsuitablemethodforteachersandEnglishbeginners.AnditarousespublicconcernwhichpeopleneedtopaymoreattentiontoChina’sbilingualeducation.
Inthepastdecades,continuousmethodsandapproacheshavebeencarriedoutbyexperts,whichhavegreatinfluenceonteachingchildrenABC,forinstance,traditionalmethodsofrepeatingABC,andAudio-visualmethods,whilemostofthemfailtoholdwater.Takingthemethodofrepeatingasanillustration,mostofteacherstendtousethismethodinteachingABC.Fromtheirperspective,ABCisquietsimpletorememberbyrepeatinginacorrectway.Otherwise,children’sthinkingisalwaysdirectedwhenrememberingsomefamiliarletters,sothemosteffectivewayistorepeatitandpracticeitmore.And,asfeedbackofthismethod,agrowingnumberofcitizenspaynoheedandevenrejectit.Referringtotheaudio-visualmethod,thereisnodenyingfactthatthismethodpriorstomanyapproacheswhichhavefewadvantagesinteachingABC.Anditshowscolorfulpictureattachedtovideo,whichcanattractchildren’sattention.However,audio-visualmethodmakestoomuchemphasisonshowingcolorfulpicturetochildrenandlacksofgamingtime,whichdoesnottakechildren’sfeelingintoconsideration.
Thesetwomethodsmaybethetipoficebergamongallunsuitablemethods;thus,puttingforwardaneffectiveapproachcansatisfychildren’sneeds,whichbecomesahotissueinteachingABC.ThebestmethodthattheauthorpreferstoisTPRapproach,anditwillbecarriedoutinthefollowingchapter.
2.LiteratureReview
Inthelastcentury,thegroupofseekingforbettermethodstoteachchildrenABCbecamelargerandlarger.Amongthem,oneofthemostinfluentialmethodologieswasintroducedintolanguageteaching,whosenameisTPRapproach.AndTPRapproachwasfirstpromotedbyDr.JamesJ.Asherinthelate1960s.

InordertohaveabetterunderstandingofTPRapproachinteachingABC,thispartisdividedintothreeparts:
