Withallthesefactorsinmind,itisobviousthatschoolsmaydiffergreatlyaccordingtothenatureofthecommunitywhichtheyserve.Everyareahasitsowngeographical,economicandhistoricalcharacterwhichmaybereflectedintheschool.Forexample,aschoolservingacommunitywhichisdominatedbyonemajorindustrymayneedtoorganizeitselfaccordingtotheexpectationsofjobopportunitieswhichwillbeavailabletothechildrenastheyleavetofindwork.Aschoolinaremoteruralareamaybeslantedinadifferentdirection.Similarly,thepresenceintheneighbourhoodofoneparticularsocialclass,raceorreligionmaybereflectedintheschool.
