【辨析】when与whattime
when
意为“什么时候”，可对年、月、日及时刻进行提问或者询问某一动作发生的时间
whattime
意为“几点”，用以询问具体的时间，如几点几分

onMay2nd中的介词on可以省略，May2nd意为“五月二日”，在表示日期时，要注意以
下几点：
在美式英语中，记载方法是按月、日、年的顺序，“日”与“年”中间要用逗号隔
开，书写时“日”可以写成序数词形式，也可直接写成阿拉伯数字形式，但读时一定读作序
数词。
April10th,1997=4/10/1997即1997年4月10日。
在英式英语中，记载方法是按日、月、年的顺序，其他同上面所讲相同。
