1.INTRODUCTION

Abarcodeisamachine-readablerepresentationofinformation（usuallydarkinkonalightbackgroundtocreatehighandlowreflectancewhichisconvertedto1sand0s）orinotherwordswecansayBarcodeistheUniversalProductCode（UPC）isaseriesoflinesatvariouswidthsthatisarepresentationofinformation,whichisreadbyanopticscannercalledabarcodereaderorscannedforanimagebyspecialsoftware.Theinformationcanbeprice,destination,orothervitalinformationconcerningtheproduct.Initially,barcodescontainedthedatawithinthewidthsandspacingoftheparallellines,todaythat'snolongertrue.Today,theinformationisconcealedinpatternsofdots,concentriccircles,andhiddeninimages.
