AutoLogonConfiguration

ToensuretheTMRsystemapplicationcanstartrunningautomaticallywhenthe

Machinerestarts,itisnecessarytoconfigureforWindowsautomaticlogin.The

detailedconfigurationstepsareasfollows:

toclosetheRegistryEditorwindow.

Thus,theautologonfunctionhasbeenenablednow.Butforsecurity

considerations,itneedstolockthecomputerimmediatelyafterlogon.The

followingstepswillimplementthisfunction.

ClickStart|AllPrograms.

ThenrightclicktheStartup,andclickOpenonthepop-upmenu.

IntheautoopenedStartupfolder,rightclicktheblankareaofthecontents

panel,andthenclickNew|Shortcutonthepop-upmenu.

TheCreateShortcutwizardwillopen,intheTypethelocationoftheitem

field,inputthestringrundll32.exeuser32.dll,LockWorkStation,andthen

clickNext.

TheninputthestringLockWorkStationasthenameoftheshortcut.And

thenclickFinishtoclosethewizard.

ExpandtheStartupfolderintheStartmenu,andmakesurethatthe

LockWorkStationshortcuthasbeencreatedsuccessfully.

Thisshortcutfunctionistolockthecomputer.ByplacedintheStartupfolder,

itcanbeexecutedimmediatelyafterWindowslogon,therebyachievethe

purposeofprotection.

Thusallconfigurationshavebeencompleted.Thecomputermustberestartedfor

theseconfigurationstotakeeffect.Afterrestaring,thecomputerwillautomatically

logontheWindowswiththedefaultdomainaccount,anditwill

belockedimmediatelyafterlogon.

Note:

Ifmanuallylogonwiththedefaultdomainaccount,the

computerwillbelockedimmediatelyafterlogon.Soitneedstodooperationson

thecomputer,theaccountselectionandpasswordtypingactionsneedtobe

executedtwice.ThefirstisforWindowslogon,andthesecondisforcomputer

unlocking.
