⑳AnnieOakleywasbornin1860inOhio.⑲Herfamilywasverypoor.Attheageof8,shedecidedtohelpthemearnmoney.Shetaughtherselfhowtoshoothergrandfather'sgunandbeganhuntinganimalsforfoodandthensoldtheanimalstothepeopleinhertown.Whenshewas15,shehadmadeenoughmoneytopayforherfamily'sfarm.Soonherabilitytoshootagunbecamewellknowninhertown.ShegotthenameLittleSureShotbecauseofhershootingabilityandbecauseshewasonly1.5meterstall.However,⑳sheleftthepeoplewholovedheronNovember3,1926.
