Sharetheroadwisely.Betweenintersectionswhenfastertrafficispresent,ifthetrafficlaneiswideenoughfortraffictopassyousafelywithinthelane,keeptothesideandmakeiteasierforthedriverstoleaveyouroom.Butduringsignificantlylonggapsintraffic,amoreconspicuouspositionwelloutinthetrafficlanehelpsgrabtheattentionofthenextdriverwhoapproaches,discouragingthemfromchoosingtoattendtoadistractionuntilafteryou'vebeensafelypassed.Arearviewmirrorcanhelpyounoticewhenfastertrafficisapproaching,andtoletyouknownwhentomoveaside,usuallyafterthey'veslowedindicatingthey'venoticedyou,butbeforetheygetirritated.Neverusearearviewmirrorglanceinplaceofahead-turnlookbackpriortomovinglaterallyontheroadway.
