Parkerlackedmoneyforlaunchingtheproject,soheconvincedSayre'sheadofschooltofundhimafterexplainingthebenefitsofsolarpowerfortheschoolandcommunity.SinceSayreprovidedtheinitialseedmoneytoprovidesuppliesandthepurchaseofonepanel,theprojecthasgrowntoincludeatotalof30panels.Theyareexpectedtogenerateenoughenergytorunallfourofthesciencelabsoncampus.

IfFridadetectsthepresenceofasurvivor,sheistrainedtobarktoalertrescueworkersbutifshedetectsacorpseshestopssuddenlybeforeproceeding,herhandlerexplained.

Elevenchildrenwererescuedfromruinsattheschoolbutthistimehumanrescueworkersratherthanthedogsweretheoneswholocatedthem.
