应对四级策略
全国大学英语四、六级考试实行“多题多卷”模式,即在同一考场内采用内容不同的试题组成的多套试卷实施考试。
答题流程：
请考生在正式开始作答前，按要求正确填写（涂）答题卡1和答题卡2上的准考证号、姓名等信息后，还应将试题册背面的条形码粘贴条揭下后粘贴至答题卡1左上角的条形码粘贴框内，并正确填写试题册背面的准考证号和姓名。
不正确填写（涂）个人信息，错贴、漏贴条形码将按违规处理。
考试正式开始后考生方可开始作答，所有题目必须在答题卡上作答，且应在规定时间内依次完成作文、听力、阅读、翻译部分试题，作文题内容印在试题册背面，作答作文期间考生不得翻阅该试题册。
听力录音播放完毕后，考生应停止作答，监考员将回收答题卡1，考生得到监考员指令后方可继续作答。
选择题均为单选题，错选、不选或多选将不得分
2016年起英语四级听力试题进行调整，在进行备考之前，同学们先来看下这次是如何调整的?
①取消短对话;②取消短文听写;③新增短篇新闻（3段）;④其余测试内容不变。
调整后英语四级听力部分的试题结构见下表：

接下来本文将通过四个小点来告诉同学们如何攻破2016英语四级新增新闻听力题目!
第一点：
入门阶段要先了解新闻内容再去听
新闻都具有时效性，因此就相关的内容进行搜索以自己熟悉的语言先大致了解新闻内容，再拿听力材料进行练习。
入门阶段建议这样做，要不一上来去听新闻会觉得陌生而困惑。
练习几次后，再直接进行新闻听力英文的接触。
第二点：
养成良好的听力习惯
大家不要因为一个词或者一个句子没有听懂而中断后续的思路，如果这样的听力习惯会导致整个内容的混乱与丢失。
因此切记不要在没有听懂的地方过于纠结与停留，因为一点内容没有听懂不会影响到整个文章内容的听不懂，我们要学会抓大放小，学会放弃。
听不懂的地方整个听完后再回去反复听，要弄明白没有听懂的原因，可能是某个单词不认识;某个专业术语意思理解偏差;某个语法不明白导致句子意思无法理解;或者语速加快导致的;又或者是自己的不专心。
第三点：
不要在乎特别难懂的人名或地名
新闻中往往会涉及过多的人名或地名，我们在平时练习时不用过多识记，在考试中也不用被这些次要词妨碍，比如在某国家某小镇发生的爆炸事件，其中关键性的内容是爆炸事件，而发生的地点则不影响内容，在题目中也不会问及这些关于国家地点的问题。
第四点：
尽快锁定大致内容
新闻的主旨往往在首句处，因此前边内容要认真听清楚，往往一句话概括出内容，后边都是细节介绍。
所以要尽快地抓住文章主旨。
主旨句往往含有内容关键词，比如busexplosion/USelectionrace等等。
当然也会有Nowinsports（现在进入体育新闻）....../TurntotheMiddleEast（现在转向中东地区）......等简单的呈现方式。
以上就是新闻听力需要注意的几点，技巧再多，纸上谈兵都不如实际操练效果来得快。
听力本就是一件需要不断“磨耳朵”的体验。
另外还有点需要提醒同学们，从2016年6月起英语四级听力时间调整为25分钟，考试起止时间调整为9:
00—11:

1.Q：
取消了听力中相对简单的短对话，但是复合式听写很难，也取消了。
到底难度是增加了?
还是下降了啊?
整体难度明显上升。
首先，尽管取消了复合式听写，但是新增了同样难度的新闻听力。
其次，短文听力的难度因为分值的变化而难度增加，原来有同学还可以稍微整一下儿神，因为每题分值才1分，但现在短文听力每题分值2分，容不得半点闪失。
因为往往走神错失1题，就会导致跟不上听题节奏，从而全篇分数尽失，而这个分值占比很大啊!
2.Q：
新闻听力改革前几乎没碰过，有什么解题技巧吗?
新闻听力确实比较难。
但新闻听力和短文听力相比，往往有一定的规律。
比如，从目前样题来看，新闻听力和英语专业四级以前的新闻听力考查方式类似，着重考查5W中间的时间（when）、事件（what），尤其是事件中的变化（change）以及原因（why）。
不太考查人物（who）和地点（where）。
同学在平时泛听新闻时，可以着重从这几个角度去留心。
同时，四级新闻听力所给的选项信息也比专业四级多些，专业四级基本就2、3个单词。
四级的选项还是和以前一样，偏小短句。
因此，快速预读的能力还是要继续保留和加强!
3.Q：
新闻听力和英语专四、专八考过的新闻听力一样吗?
可以用这些题目练习吗?
新闻听力的选材肯定会有比较像。
但总体难度稍微比英语专业四级低一点，因为基本一则新闻只围绕一个事件和话题，而不会像专业四级那样一篇听力内容当中多条新闻。
和专八肯定就更不像了，四级不会达到那样的难度。
所以，不建议大量自己买专四真题，大海捞针似地狂练，还是跟着专业老师进行相关的技巧学习，以不变应万变，同时有方向感和选择性地进行练习，比较节约精力。
4.Q：
新闻听力有BBC、VOA、CNN等等，平时自己可以找这些材料进行练习吗?
可以进行泛听，选择这些新闻平时”磨耳朵“。
如果基础比较好的同学，可以尝试听标准VOA和标准BBC;大部分同学切忌一上来就选取这些过度难的材料，导致无法培养对新闻听力的”爱“。
大部分同学建议还是先听VOA慢速，一定不要听BBC，因为BBC语速非常快。
另外可以给大家的建议如下：
从题材方面来看，一则为国际时事的政治类，另两则为经济类和环保类。
按照四、六级总体改革趋势是越来越贴近生活化，越来越希望引导大家去多多进行实际运用，新闻听力的题材可多多关注以下几个方面：
1）最热门、但不具政治争议的国际时事
2）经济类，偏商务、职场相关
3）当代潮流趋势相关：
环保类、互联网相关
4）最后是与大学生和英语学习相关：
教育类、学习类、英美文化类
5.Q：
短文听力分值增加了，听力内容难度会有所增加吗?
根据我之前教短文听力的经验来看，虽然分值增加了，但是从听力原文来看，短文听力的难度没有增加。
所以这是一把双刃剑，一方面分值增加，不允许犯错的风险大大增加;但另一方面，在难度不变的情况下，同学们可以多多结合我们课上讲过的规律、技巧、解题思路等等，用旧的历年真题，多多练起来!
