carefor“喜欢”,常用于疑问句或否定句;“照顾”是较正式的用语

runout与runoutof

runout用完了(=beeusedup);其主语通常为时间、食物、金钱等名词,例如:

Hismoneysoonranout.他的钱很快就花完了。

runoutof“用完了”,表示主动含义,主语一般是人。

Heisalwaysrunningoutofmoneybeforepayday.他总是发工资的日子还没到就把钱花完了。

runoutof+宾语还有“从……流出”,“跑出”的意思

runout也有“流出”的意思,但不可接宾语。

3.relyon/uponsb./sth指望或依赖某人或某物

Nowadayswerelyincreasinglyonputersforhelp/tohelpus.

现在人们越来越依赖计算机协助工作。

Ireliedyouringearly.我指望你早来。

4.getridof(=get…of…)含义为“处理掉、去掉、排除、摆脱”的意思。

5.费用:

charge,costexpense

charge表示费用时,指的是某种“收费”或“征费”

cost表示费用时,指的是为某中目的的“支出性的、投资性的、成本性的”费用。

6.monadj.共同的have…inmon在……有共同之处,和……一样

havemuch/alotinmon有许多相同之处havenothing/littleinmon没有共同之处

他们同出一师,所以有许多共同之处。

inmonwith和……一样

Inmonwithhermother,sheisgoodatsinginganddancing.
