一、题材内容
本模块以人口为话题,重点探讨城市化进程当中人口聚集带来的问题,并对城市生活和乡村生活各自利弊进行了简要对比。
对于中国这样一个人口基数大,增长速度快的人口大国,在发展经济的过程中不能不关注人口问题造成的影响。
因此,在中学英语教学中提出关注人口,关注城市化进程所面临的问题的思路对青少年的成长是具有现实意义的。
二、教学目标
1)语言知识:
词汇

流利的说出含有本模块生词、短语;熟练掌握数字的发音规则;能够就城市进程中面临的人口,资源的问题展开简单对话。

能读懂人口急速增长给城市,环境带来的问题的相关文章。
写
1.能够运用本模块的生词和短语写出有关环境问题方面的句子。
2.能够区分冠词a,an,the的用法,并在书写句子的时候灵活使用。
3.比较熟练地根据人口信息制作相关图表。
演示与表达
面向全班同学做有关人口增长过快带来的环境问题的介绍;比较城市生活和乡村生活。

三、教学重点和难点
重点:

四、教学方法
基于课程改革的理念及“第二语言习得论”,培养实现人的可持续发展和人的主体精神的自我完善和发展所必需的能力和素质,运用任务型教学途径,围绕核心任务,设定小任务,开展和谐愉悦的课堂活动,强调兴趣第一的原则,初步设计“P—T—P”自主学习立体模式:
pre-task…task-cycle…post-task。
五、教材处理
核心任务:
能够运用所学句型结构向不同的朋友介绍城市进程面临的问题。
三个环节如下:
pre-task:
学生联系生活实际,激活背景知识,。
task–cycle:
通过整个模块的听说读写的训练,强化“问题意识。
