OnJuly27,Kekula’sfather,Moses,wenttoahospitalinKanata,afterhisbloodpressurerosesharply.Theonlyreasonthehospitalhadabedtoofferhimwasbecausesomeonehadjustdied.Butthestaffinthehospitaldidn’trealizethepatientdiedfromanEbolainfection.Shortly,afterhewasadmittedtothehospital,Mosesdevelopedafever,startedvomitingandwassufferingfromdiarrhea.OncenursesstarteddyingofEbola,thehospitalshutdownandMoseshadtoleave.Kekuladrove90minutestoMonrovia,thecapitalofLiberia,toseektreatment.Threehospitalsturnedthemawaybecausetherewasnosparebedforpatientsatall.
