Buttherewerechangesinthenumbersofvistorsfromdifferentcountries.Someincreased
butsomedecreased.ThegreatestchangehappenedinBangladesh.Thenumberofvisitors
fromBangladeshwasdown------therewere70%fewergrouptourvisitorsand48%
independenttravelersthantheyearbefore.VisitorsfromArgentinawereupby53%for
grouptoursand26%forindependenttravelers.ThenumberofvisitorsfromSwedenwasup
by24%forgrouptoursand15%forindependenttravelers.

steadilybetweenFebruaryandApril.However,theythenfellslightlybetweenAprilandJuly.
FollowingaminorriseinAugust,salesdeclinednoticeablyfrom160000poundsto120000
pounds.Thedownwardtrendcontinued,andinNovembersalesreachedtheirlowestpoint
sinceJanuary.Fortunately,thankstoanewmarketingstrategyandgrowingdemandsfor
holidaygoods,salesincreaseddramaticallyattheendoftheyearandeventuallyreached
200000pounds.Inall,it’sayearofbothriseandfallandwasfinallyendedupwithgreat
successinsales.

time.Clearly,theteenagerslikesurfingthenetverymuchandtheyusuallyspend16.7hours
perweekon-line.Nexttothis,theywouldprefertowatchingTV,13.6hoursperweekbeing
spentforthat.Interestingly,inaweek,theyonlyspendabout6hoursreadingbooksor
magazines.Andtheamountoftimetheyspendinlisteningtoradioorusingtelephoneisjust
inbetween.

February,theywentuprapidly.Inthenextthreemonths,theyfluctuatedbetween20billion
and25billion.FromMaytoOctober,exportssawaslightdecrease,thenasmallincreasein
November.InDecember,therewasasignificantincrease.Butafterthat,Chineseexportsfell
dramatically.
Comparedwithexports,Chineseimportssawacontinuousrisefromthebeginningof
lastyeartoMay.Inthenextsixmonths,theyshowedagradualfluctuation.Atthestartof
November,theybegantopickupandfromNovembertoDecember,importsincreased
abruptlytoreachapeakof17billion.Atthebeginningofthisyear,asuddendeclinein
exportsledtosteepfallinimports.

isJapan,whichmakesup15%ofourmarketshare.AndAustraliaaccountsfor10%.Finally,
