拉丁文缩写
不是缩写，本来是短短两个字母re。
源于拉丁语名词“res”（事，事情，东西，档案）的离格词形（“关于”等的意思），意思是“关于（什么什么）事”。

拉丁语是像中文的文言那样的东西，对于一般人来说是不太通晓的，所以现代人把re当为“withREgardto”（也是“关于”的意思）或“inREplyto”（回答什么什么）等的缩写，就是不对的，可也是一个可以理解的错误。
