樱桃性状描述
DESCRIPTORLISTFORCHERRY
TheIBPGRnowusesthefollowingdefinitionsingeneticresourcesdocumentation:
i)passport(accessionidentifiersandinformationrecordedbycollectors);
ii)characterization(consistsofrecordingthosecharacterswhicharehighlyheritable,canbeeasilyseenbytheeyeandareexpressedinallenvironments);
iii)preliminaryevaluation(consistsofrecordingalimitednumberofadditionaltraitsthoughtdesirablebyaconsensusofusersoftheparticularcrop).
Characterizationandpreliminaryevaluationwillnormallybetheresponsibilityofthecurators,whilefurthercharacterizationandevaluationshouldbecarriedoutbytheplantbreeder.Thedatafromfurtherevaluationshouldbefedbacktothecropcoordinatorwhowillmaintainadatafile.
Thefollowinginternationallyacceptedstandardsforthescoringorcodingofdescriptorstatesshouldbefollowedasindicatedbelow:
a)measurementsaremadeinmetricunits;
b)manydescriptorswhicharecontinuouslyvariablearerecordedona1-9scale.Theauthorsofthislisthavesometimesdescribedonlyaselectionofthestates,e.g.3,5and7forsuchdescriptors.Wherethishasoccurredthefullrangeofcodesisavailableforusebyextensionofthecodesgivenorbyinterpolationbetweenthem-e.g.in8.(Pestanddiseasesusceptibility)1=extremelylowsusceptibilityand8=hightoextremelyhighsusceptibility;
c)presence/absenceofcharactersarescoredas+(present)and0(absent);
d)fordescriptorswhicharenotgenerallyuniformthroughouttheaccession(e.g.mixedcollection,geneticsegregation)meanandstandarddeviationcouldbereportedwherethedescriptoriscontinuousormeanand'x'wherethedescriptorisdiscontinuous(frequenciescanberecordedintheNOTESdescriptor,11);
e)whenthedescriptorisinapplicable,'0'isusedasthedescriptorvalue.Forexample,ifanaccessiondoesnotformflowers,a'0'wouldbescoredforthefollowingdescriptor
