2.1.2.1Basecabinet

TheS8000IndoorBTSwithBCFcabinetcanbewall-mounted,orputonthefloor.

ThebasecabinetisshowninFigure2-10.

Whenthebasecabinetisturnedon,theexternalambientairtemperaturemustbebetween0︒C（32︒F）and45︒C（113︒F）.

Onceinoperation,thebasecabinetrequiresanexternalambientairtemperatureabove-5︒C（23︒F）andbelow45︒C（113︒F）.

Consumption（最大功耗）

Themaximumpowerconsumptionofthebasecabinetis2080W

2.1.2.2BCFcabinet

TheBCFcabinetcanbewall-mountedorputonasupportdeviceandmustnotbeplacedfurtherthan10m（33'2''）awayfromthebasecabinet.TheBCFcabinetisshowninFigure2-11.

Thecabinettop（seeFigure2-22）canholdamaximumoftwoALPROmodules.

AnALPROmoduleconsistsofanALPROboard,aprotectioncover,andaninterconnectionplate.

Thefangridintheupperpanelisanairoutlet.Radiooutputs,thecablingwiththeseparateBCFCabinet（ifapplicable）andthecabinetpowersupplyareachievedfromthetopofthecabinet.

Combinerinterconnection（COMICO）compartment

Thiscompartmentconsistsofaninterconnectionboardforthecombinercompartmentmodules,whichcentralizesinputs/outputsonthealarmsandthepowersupplies.

RFcombinerandTx-Filtercompartment

TheRFCombinerandTx-Filtercompartmentcanholdamaximumofeitherofthefollowingcombinationofmodules:

●sixRFCombinermodulesoftheduplexeronlytype（D）

●sixRFCombinermodulesofthetwo-wayhybridduplexertype（H2D）

●threeRFCombinermodulesofthethefour-wayhybridduplexertype（H4D）

●fourRFCombinermodulesoftheduplexeronlytype（D）andfourTx-Filtermodules（TxF）

TheD,H2D,andH4DRFCombinermodulesperformthefollowingfunctions:

●transmissioncouplingoftwo,three,orfourchannels

●filteringandduplexingoftransmissionandreceptionsignalsonthesameantennaport

●amplificationofreceptionsignals

●monitoringoftheantennaVSWR（option）

TheTx-Filterperformsthefollowingfunctions:

●filteringoftransmissionsignals

●monitoringoftheantennaVSWR（option）

dccompartment

Thiscompartmentcontainsfourswitchestodisconnectthepowersupplytothe

PowerAmplifiers,thefans,theALCOorRECALboardandtheBCFortheCBCF.

ThecompartmentalsocontainsanF-typeconverter,whichsupplies±15Vdcto

theLNA-splitterandtheVSWR-meter.AsecondF-typeconverterisavailableasanoption.

PAinterconnectioncompartment

Thiscompartmentcentralizesthe-48VdcpowersupplyofthePowerAmplifiers（PA）.

PowerAmplifierandalarmcompartment

Thiscompartmentcontains:

●onetoeightpoweramplifiers（PAs）

●oneALCOorRECALboard

ItispossibletoconnecttheALCOorRECALboardtooneortwoexternalalarm

protectionboards（ALPRO）locatedontopofthebasecabinet.

DRXinterconnectioncompartment

ThiscompartmentcentralizesDRXoutputs.ItconnectstheDRXstothePowerAmplifiers（PA）ontheonehand,andinterconnectstheDRXsbymeansoftheFHbus,ontheother.

DRXandCBCFCompartment

ThiscompartmentcontainsamaximumofeightDriverandReceiver（DRX）modules.

TheCBCFmoduleislocatedinthefarrightofthiscompartment.Afillingplate

replacestheCBCFwhentheBCFisused.

RX-splittercompartment

ThiscompartmentcontainsuptosixRX-splitters,whichreceivedatasignalsfromtheunitsinthecouplercompartmentanddistributesthemtotheDRXs.

Climaticcompartment

Thiscompartmentcontainsthreefans,andtheFANICOboard（FANICOPCB-PrintedCircuitBoard）.Onefanisoptionalandisusedtoensureredundancy.Thisboardenablesthecontroloftherotationofeachfanandsendsanalarm（oneforeachfan）totheALCOorRECALboardwhenthefanspeedgoesbelowafixedthreshold

Uppercompartment

ThiscompartmentcontainsthreefansandaFANICOboard（identicaltotheoneintheradiocabinet）.RotationmanagementalarmsaresenttotheALCOboard.

Therearethree800mA-fusesonthefrontpaneloftheBCFtoprotectthefans.

Lowercompartment

ThiscompartmentcontainsthefollowingBCFboards:

●threePCMIboards

●twogatewayboards（GTW）

●twocontrolandswitchingunits（CSWM）

●fourdatasignalingconcentrationunits（DSC）

●twosynchronizationmodules（SYNC）

●three48V/±5V/12Aconverters（oneconverterisoptional）

●onePowerSupplyCoMmanDunit（PSCMD）.

Thereisa4A-fuseonthefrontpaneltotheleftoftheBCFboardtoprotectitself.

2.2.4Additionalequipments

2.2.4.175Ωkit（GSM900/1800）

ThiskitisrequiredforGSM900andGSM1800configurationsworkingwith75Ωlineimpedance.Itensurestheadaptationofthe120ΩimpedancefromthePCMIboardstothe75ΩimpedanceoftheexternalPCMs.

interconnectionmodules（seeFigure2-32）:

●"Sxy"isatwo-cellsitewithxDRXsinthefirstcellandyDRXsinthesecondcell.
