AnothersimilarcaseisaVirginialawstudentwhoneededtreatmentforthespotteddarkeningonherleg.Dr.KimberleySalkey,whotreatedtheyoungwoman,learnedthestudentspentaboutsixhoursadayworkingwithhercomputerplacedonherlap.AsDr.Salkeylaterlearnt,thetemperatureunderthelaptopcouldreach51degrees.Thatcase,from2007,isoneof10laptop-relatedcasesreportedinmedicaljournalsinthepastsixyears.
