5.0RESPONSIBILITIES

ØProjectManagerisresponsibleforoverallprojectexecution,qualityandsafety.AdoptaleadingrolewithrespecttoContractor’squalityandsafetyprocedures.ThePMisresponsiblefortheoverallimplementationofthismethodstatement.TheProjectManagershallensurethatthekeypersonnelarewellawareofthespecificationsandmethodstatement.

ØCM/ProjectEngineershallarrangeallmaterials,equipment,safetyrelateditems&manpower&directtheSiteEngineers&Forementoresortappropriateactionforthesmoothexecutionoftheworks.

ØSafetyEngineershallberesponsibleforsafeworkingenvironment&conditions.CoordinatewithSiteEngineertoidentifypotentialhazardsbeforeworksandadvisemethodsofsafeworkingfromnewdevelopments.

ØSurveyorshallberesponsibleforsettingoutforlevels,layout,andlines&establishtoplevels.Ensuringsettingoutbooksareproperlymaintainedandfiledwhencompleted.TocoordinatewiththeCONSULTANTsurveyorindeterminingcoordinates,levels,andlimits.

ØQA/QCEngineershallberesponsibleforensuringthatexecutionofworksarecomplyingwithapprovedmethodstatement;specifications,approvedshopdrawingsandensureITRaresubmittedbasedonITPrequirements.

ØSiteEngineershallensurethatallworksarecarriedoutaccordingtoapprovedshopdrawings.Heshalldirectthesurveyorforthesettingoutlines&levelsinconcurrencefromtheConstructionManager/SeniorCivilEngineer.

ØMEPCoordinator/EngineershallberesponsibleforproperexecutionofMEPworksinvolvedbefore,duringandaftertheworks.

ØAHMSiteEngineershallensurethatallmaterialsshallbedeliveredtositecomplywithapprovedsamplesandshallbeassignedattemporarystoragelocationsatSiteaccordingtoitsfixinglocation.Thefixinglocationofeachindividualstonepanelshallbedefinedbylevelno.relatedidentificationmarkingtoensurecompliancetotheapprovedshopdrawingandtraceability.

MARBLEINSTALLATION:

9.1

MarbleDelivery:

AHMSiteEngineershallensurethatallmaterialsshallbedeliveredtositecomplywithapprovedsamplesandshallbeassignedattemporarystoragelocationsatSiteaccordingtoitsfixinglocation.Thefixinglocationofeachindividualstonepanelshallbedefinedbylevelno.relatedidentificationmarkingtoensurecompliancetotheapprovedshopdrawingandtraceability.

ThestonepanelsshallbedeliveredtositeonaFloorbyFloorbasis.

Allmaterialandfixingmaterialshallbeoffloadedtotemporaryloadingarea

Thematerialshallbehandledwithcareinordertoavoidanydamage.

Thematerialshallbeunloadedtotheworkingarea,ifthesiteconditionisallowed.

TheStonepanelshallbeplacedevenlyonthefloorslabandensuretheweightmustnotexceedtheloadingofweightoftheslab.

EachPanel,tile,tobecheckedagainstthefollowingpriortoinstallation:

ØAllotherworkmustbefinalizedpriortomarbleinstallation.

ØCheckthesurfacesindicatedtoreceivestoneflooringforcompliancewithrequirements.

ØLaytileagainandrepeatcompactionbymeansofsofthammer.Beatthetileinordertoobtainaflatandleveledsurface.

ØTraffictobeprohibitedfrominstalledstonefloorforaminimumof48hours.
