【考点1-名词的数】
1.不可数名词[U]:
不能以数目计算,不可以分成个体的概念、状态、品质、感情或表示物质材料的东西;一般没有复数形式,只有单数形式,前面不能用不定冠词a/an;抽象名词、物质名词、和专有名词一般是不可数名词
下列名词通常用作不可数名词:
fun,advice,weather,progress,information,bread,butter,baggage,clothing,equipment,
furniture,homework,juice,luggage,luck,music,milk,meat,production,permission,rubber,rice,soup,wealth,health,glass(玻璃),English,America等。
Itcombinesfunwithcomplexconcepts.
它把乐趣和复杂的概念结合在一起。
2.有些名词通常只用作复数:
集体名词:
以单数形式出现,但实际为复数
例如:
people、police、cattle等单词本身就是复数,不能说成apeople、apolice、acattle
但是可以说成aperson、apoliceman、aheadofcattle
表示由两/几部分构成的东西:
例如:
glasses、trousers/pants(裤子)、shorts、clothes、compasses(圆规)、scales(天平)、clips(剪子)、trafficlights(交通灯)等,若表达具体数目,要借助数量词pair、suit等

有些固定搭配中的名词通常用复数。
如:
havewordswithsb.同某人吵架,inlowspirits情绪低落,giveone’sregardstosb.向某人问候,inrags衣衫褴褛,havegoodmanners有礼貌。
Lockersareavailabletostoreanybelongingsduringyourvisit.
旅游期间,用来储存财物的储物柜可以使用。

3.有些名词既可以用作可数名词,也可以用作不可数名词,但意义不同。
experience:
当“经历”可数;“经验”不可数
Time:
当“次数”可数;“时间”不可数
Work:
当“著作”可数;“工作”不可数
Water(水)/waters(水域);green(绿色的)/greens(蔬菜);
return(归还)/returns(利润);blue(蓝色的)/blues(忧郁)

【考点2-抽象名词(具体化、量化)】
1.抽象名词表示某种特性、状态、特点、情感、情绪、思维等时通常为不可数名词。
若与定冠词连用则表特指内容,如thescienceofsound声学。
若泛指一般概念、意义,则不与任何冠词连用。
2.有些物质名词可以具体为有形或有数量的相应物体,做单数、复数都可以。
somecoffee一些咖啡/acoffee一杯咖啡,drink饮料/twodrinks两杯饮料,ice冰/twoices两份冰激凌等。
Youshouldneverputdrinksnearaphone.
你应当永远都不要把饮料放到手机附近。
3.可以有不定冠词a/an修饰的不可数名词
当以下名词前有定语修饰时,可以用不定冠词修饰
一日三餐:
breakfast、lunch、dinner、supper(如:
haveanicebreakfast)
Education、joy、knowledge、sleep、time(如:
haveagoodtime)
【考点3-不定冠词a/an】
1.用在首次提到的人或物的可数名词单数前面,泛指某
(一)个人或某
(一)件事物。

3.在抽象名词前可使抽象名词具体化,表示“一场、一次、一件”。
如:
