Abstract

Withthedevelopmentofthesociety,Englishhasbecomemoreandmoreimportantinourdairylife,inordertoadapttothedevelopmentofthesociety,theEnglishteachingisalsointhepositivereform,situationalteachinghasbecomeanimportantmeanofimprovingthequalityofEnglishteaching.However,consideringofthecurrentEnglisheducation,theteachersstillinfluencedbythetraditionaleducationmode,undertaketothestudentthetraditionalmajorseducation,thestudentsonlyknowtograspofEnglishknowledge,oncetheuseofknowledgeandtheEnglish,isthebrotherhoodofyourhead.Accordingtothisform,reasonabletoapplysituationalteachinginEnglishteaching,itiscriticalthatitcaneffectivelyenhancestudents'interestinlearningEnglish,andimprovestudent'sabilitytouseEnglish.ThispaperintroducestheproblemsexistinginEnglishteachingandtheimportanceofEnglisheducationtousesituationalteaching,situationalteachingareanalyzedintheapplicationofnewstandardEnglishteaching,hopingEnglishteacherscanreasonableuseofsituationalteaching,improvethestudents'interest,thusimprovethequalityofEnglishteaching.

摘要

随着社会的发展,英语已经具有越来越重要的地位,为了适应社会的发展,新课标英语也在积极的改革之中,情景教学已经成为提升英语教学质量的重要手段。

然而,目前的英语教育中,教师还受到传统教育模式的影响,对学生进行灌输式教育,致使学生只知道对英语知识进行掌握,一旦而临英语知识的运用,就显得手足失措。

针对这种形式,合理的将情景教学运用到英语教学中,就显得至关重要,这样可以有效的增强学生学习英语的兴趣,进而提高学生对英语的运用能力。

本文介绍了英语教学中存在的问题和英语教育运用情景教学的重要性,进而分析了情景教学在新课标英语教学中的具体应用,希望英语教育者能够合理的运用情景教学,提高学生的兴趣,进而提高英语教学质量。

1.Introduction

1.1TraditionalEnglishteachingtheorybringsstudentsaheavyburden

InthepresentEnglishteaching,theteachersandstudentsarestillunderthegreatinfluenceofthetraditionalEnglishteachingtheory,theirmajorobjectiveistotohaveahighscoreinordertogotoagooduniversity,inthisprocedurestheywanttoimproveistheirabilityofEnglishtext-orientednotreallylearningandusingEnglish.SoEnglishasanlanguageseemstobecomeausefultooltogotoagooduniversity,oncetheycan’tstudyEnglishwell(theycan’thaveahighscore)theywouldn’tgotoauniversityandwouldn’thaveagoodjobandwouldn’thaveabetterlifeinthefuture,andwiththegreatercompetitionthestudentsarefacingincollegeentranceexamination,thereisondoubtthatEnglishstudyingisbecomingamoreandmoreheavyburdentostudents.

1.2TraditionalEnglishteachingmethodistoorigidandlackofinterest,seriouslyaffectedtheteachingresult

IntraditionalEnglishteaching,teachersareusedtospeaking,lettingthestudentsrecitetimeaftertimeandthendoinglotsofexercise,andevenmanyteacherssay“thebestwaytostudyEnglishisrecitation”,teachersinthissituationover-emphasisthetransmissionandexplanationofknowledgeaboutgrammarandvocabulary,neglectingtodevelopstudents’abilitytouselanguageforreal(PuXiaoxia,2014).Studentsinthiskindteachingsituationwouldhardlyfindanyinterestandtheywouldquicklybetiredtotheclass,thentheywouldbeabsent-mindedness,sleepyanddazed.Theteacherrepeatedspeakingbutthestudentsdidn’thaveanyinteresttolisten,eventheylistenedcarefullytheycouldn’tkeepthissituationtoolongtimenotonlyfromphysicalbutalsofrommental,soitisobviousthatteachinginthissituationwouldhardlybeeffective.

1.3TheimportanceofsituationalteachinginnewcurriculumEnglishteaching

Situationalteachingisveryimportant,thesignificanceinenhancingtheclassmoreinterestingandchangethetraditionalteachingmodetwoparties(Batstone,2002).theparties,toenhancetheteachinginterests,situationalteachingcanenrichtheteachingway,toenhancestudents'interestinEnglish,andcanbediscussed,takingthetopicofinterest,creatingsituationalteachingmodel,canbeeffectivetoletthestudentscombinedwithactualsituationaround,topracticeEnglishconversationcaneffectivelyenhancestudents'interests,strengtheningthestudent'sabilitytounderstandEnglish,andimprovethestudents'abilitytouseEnglish;Inthepartyandchangethetraditionalteachingmode,situationalteachingcanbeusedtotaketeachersasthemainbodyintonowtakethestudentasthemainbody,lettingthestudentfeeloneselfisthemasteroftheclassroom,caneffectivelyenhancetheenthusiasmofstudentslearningEnglish,caneffectivelyimprovethequalityofEnglishteaching(Genesee&Johna,2001)

 

 

2.Literaturereview

2.1GeneralobjectivesandteachingstrategiesinnewcurriculumEnglishteaching

ThecurrentroundofreformstotheEnglishcurriculumaimtoestablishacurriculumthat:

developsstudents’comprehensivelanguagecompetence,motivatesstudents,isrelevanttotheirlifeexperiencesandcognitivelevel,promotingtask-basedteachingmethods,involvesstudentsinexperiential,practical,participatoryandcooperativelearning,anddevelopingstudents’positiveattitudes,thinkingskills,practicalabilities,culturalawarenessandautonomythroughthelanguagelearningprocess(2008).

Thecurriculumobjectivesareholisticandflexible,thefundamentalaimofthenewEnglishcurriculumistodevelopstudents’comprehensivelanguagecompetence,thisaimisbrokendownintofivegeneralobjectives,theseobjectivesarethendividedintonineabilitylevelswithdescriptorsprovidedforeachlevel.(ZhongQiquan,2003)Thefivegeneralobjectivesare:

languageskills,languageknowledge,attitudestolearning,learningstrategiesandculturalawareness.

2.2Situationalteaching’sapplicationinnewcurriculumEnglishteaching

2.2.1SetuptheproblemsituationinEnglishteaching.

Accordingtotheactualsituation,setupaproblemsituation,stimulatestudents'interest,letthestudentsthroughsituationalproblemstoexplore,tostrengthenandteacher'sclassroomcommunication,andlettingthestudentsthinkoftheproblem,contactingtheactuallife,alsocanenhancethestudents'abilitytothink,lettingthestudentscanactivelyparticipateintheclassroomcommunication,effectivelyimprovingtheefficiencyofclassroomlearningandimprovingthestudents'abilitytouseEnglish(TangNan,2014).

2.2.2DesigntheinterestingsituationinEnglishteaching

TeacherscanbetheintroductionofmultimediatechnologyinEnglishteaching,itcaneffectivelyattractstudents'interests,withtheincreaseofstudentinterest,theywillactivelyintoEnglishlearning,whichcaneffectivelyenhancestudents'graspoftheEnglishlanguageability,soastoimprovetheefficiencyoflearningEnglish.Forexample,inthestudyofworldcultureexchangelesson,statueoflibertytotheForbiddenCity,thepyramids,themountainlandmarkssuchasthepictureisintroducedintothemultimedia,throughteachervividexplanationandpicturestothestimulationofstudents,canbetterimprovestudentsyearningforculturalcommunication,effectivelyimprovethestudents'enthusiasm,thencanletthestudentsdiscussthetopicinEnglish.

2.2.3EstablishtheapplicationsituationinEnglishteaching.

InviewofthesituationofstudentsdifficulttoflexibleuseofEnglish,teachersshouldaccordingtotheactualsituation,establishpracticalteachingscene,intheclasshallofEnglishstudy,canletthestudentsplaytheroleofcurriculumin,letsthestudentpositivecommunication,caneffectivelystrengthenthestudents'abilitytomaster,atthesametime,throughlongtimepractice,canalsoenhancestudents'communicationability(Nelson&Murphy,1992).Therefore,inEnglishLanguageclassroomteachingwiththemodeloftheactualsituation,caneffectivelyenhancestudents'abilityinunderstandingandthepracticalapplicationofEnglishlanguageability,isaneffectivemeansofheadinterfacetoimprovestudents'Englishlevel.

 

 

 

3.Analysis(accordingtothelessonplanIhaveenclosed)

IwouldanalysisthesituationalteachinginnewcurriculumEnglishteachingfromthenextthreeaspects:

thequestionsituation,interestingsituationandtheapplicationsituationaccordingtothelessonplanIhaveenclosed.

QuestionsituationisanimportantpartinnewcurriculumEnglishteaching,itcanguidethestudentstothinktherelatedquestions,atthesametimeitcandrawthestudentsattentiontotheclasstotheknowledgepoints,afterdeeplythoughtabouttheknowledgepointIthinkstudentsmasteredtheknowledgepointbetter.Inmylessonplan,Iusedthequestionespeciallyinthesecondpart-----while-studying,whenIshowedsomesentenceswhichusedthepresentcontinuoustime,inordertoguidethemtothepresentcontinuoustimeIaskedthestudents“whatcommonpointdoesthesentenceshaveinexpressedtheactionorsituation?

”,“weretheyareexpressedinsimplepresentorsimplepasttense?

’’,“canyouguesswhattensethesentencesused?

”andsoon.FromthesequestionsIquicklyguidedthestudentstotheobjective-----thepresentcontinuoustime,andthestudentsarealsoeasilyenteredtheobjectivestudying.

Interestingsituationisalsoessentialforgoodteacherstoteachintheirclass,thereisondoubtthatinterestingsituationcanquicklyattractthestudentstotheclassandletthestudentsstudyingbecomeeasyandrelax,asaproverbsaying“interestisthebestteacher”,tousetheinterestingsituationletstudentstostudyeasilyisagoodway.Inmylessonplan,Iusedtheinterestingsituationespeciallyinthefirstpart-----pre-studying,Iusedma
