Tier1publiclyaccountableentities;andTier2allotherpreparersofGPFRsIntroducesareducedisclosureregimeforTier2entities.Tier2entitieswillberequiredtoapplyrecognition,measurementandpresentationrequirementswithsubstantiallyreduceddisclosures.Reduceddisclosureregime(RDR)Applicationdateisforfinancialreportingperiodscommencingonorafter1July2013,althoughearlyadoptionispermitted.NonreportingentitieswillcontinuetobeexcludedfromtherequirementstoprepareaGPFR,butmaystillneedtoprepareaSPFR.
