3.1StructureofBusConnection

ThePNOZmultiusesacommonprofilebasedon20bytesinputand20bytesoutputusingtheprocessdatachannelforthefollowingfieldbuses:

∙Profibus-DP

∙DeviceNet

∙Interbus-S

∙CC-Link（24bytes）

Note:

CANopenishandleddifferently

TheFieldbusmoduleofthePNOZmultisendsan“outputdatablock”andreceivesan“inputdatablock”.witheachOS-cycle.

Eachdatablockconsistsof20bytes.Thefirstthreebytesareusedforuserbitdata,thenextoneisforstatusbitsand15bytesareusedforTabletransferandonebyteasControlbits.

3.1.1UserI/OBitData

ApartofthedatablockswillbeprocessedinPNOZmultiasfieldbusflags.Thefirstthreebytesoftheinputdatablockandthefirstthreebytesoftheoutputdatablockareuserbitdata.

3.1.1.1AssignmentoftheI/OBitData

Inthefirststep,（V3.0）theusercanonlyassign24flagsofthePNOZmultiandinternalflagstotheoutputdatablock.ThetransferofbitstotheMultiintotheinputdatablockisrealizedinalaterversion.

Theusercanchoosethefieldbusbitinthesameprocessusing“setactive”

TheusercanassigneachinternalflagofPNOZmultitothefieldbusbits.

Inthediagram“Profibus”isthenamethattheuserhasgiventothefieldbusmoduleduringtheconfigurationinthewindow“SelectBaseandExpansionModules”.

The“O”and“I”aftermeanOutputandInput.Thereare24bitsasoutput.

Inthesamewayfor“Setinputandoutputsactive”,thefieldbusbitscanhavecomments.Itwillbedisplayedliketheotherssymbolicnames

Forexample:

“ProfibusO.2.MainE-Stop”

”Profibus”isthenameofthemodule.

”O”meansOutput.

”2”meansthebit2ofthemodule.

”MainE-Stop”isthesymbolicnameofthebit.

Therearesomerestrictionsduetothesafetytousethefieldbusinputbits.Theusingoftheinputbitswillbenotrealizedinthefirststep（V3.0）
