First,introductionanidealelectricalpowersystemisbythesoleconstantfrequencyandthestipulationpeak-to-peakvalueregulatedvoltagepowersupply.Butinfact,asaresultoftherecentyearsalongwithscience'sandtechnology'sunceasingdevelopment,thehighefficiencytradedtheclassequipmentandthemodulatoruse,highintheelectricalpowersystempressesthenonlinearelementwhichthedirectcurrenttransmissiontheapplication,themassivemisalignmentload'sappearanceaswellasthepowersupplysystemitselfexistedandsoontocauseinthesystem'svoltagewaveformdistortiontobegettingmoreandmoreserious,hascausedtheverybigharmtotheelectricalpowersystem,forexample:

Causesinthepowersupplysystemtheparttoloseincreases,reducescurrentcollector'sservicelife,todisturbthecommunicationsystemandsoon.Seriouswhenevencanalsocauseequipmentthedamage,automaticcontrolmalfunction,relayprotectionmisoperation,thuscreatesthepowercutaccidentandsoonandotherquestions.So-called"thefriendknowsother,isundefeatedinmanybattles",therefore,mustrealizetotheelectricalnetworkovertonecomprehensiveprogramofpublicorder,mustmakecleartheovertoneoriginandtheelectricalnetworkinundertheeachdifferentmovementwaytheovertonetidalcurrentdistributedsituation,adoptsthecorrespondingmeasurelimitandtheharmoniccancellation,thuschangesthefriendlypowersupplysystempowersupplyqualityandguaranteessystem'ssecurityeconomymovement.

Second,electricalpowersystemovertone'soriginintheelectricalpowersystemtheovertonesourceismanyandvaried.Mainlyhasthefollowingseveralkinds:
