worth,worthy与worthwhile
这三个词都可以表示“值得的”,但各自的用法或搭配关系不同。
worth
只能作表语,意为“值得的,有……价值的”,其后接名词或主动语态的动名词(表示被动的含义)作宾语
worthy
可以作表语或定语。
用作定语时,意为“有价值的,值得尊敬的,应受到赏识的”;用作表语时,意为“值得……的,应受到……的”,常用于以下结构:
