Itmayseemstrange,butatthatmoment,whenwewereontheedgeofthewhirlpool,Ifeltcalmerthanwhenweweremovingtowardsit.Wewentroundandround,nearerandnearertothehorribleedgeofthewhirlpool.Suddenly,wewentovertheedge.Ithoughtmylifewasover.Butmomentaftermomentpassed,andIwasstillsafe.Theboatwasontheinsideofthehugewhirlpoolandweweregoingroundincirclesatgreatspeed.Isawclearlythattherewereotherobjectsinthewhirlpool–treesandbarrels.Inoticedthattheheavierobjectswentdownmorequicklythanthesmaller,lighterones.SoItiedmyselftoabarreltohelpmefloat.Itriedtomakemybrotherunderstand,buthewasterrifiedandstayedintheheavyboat.Withoutwaiting,Idivedintotheseatotryandescape.
