ThispagecontainstheArgumenttopicsfortheAnalyticalWritingsectionoftheGRE®revisedGeneralTest.Whenyoutakethetest,youwillbepresentedwithoneArgumenttopicfromthispool.

EachArgumenttopicconsistsofapassagethatpresentsanargumentfollowedbyspecifictaskinstructionsthattellyouhowtoanalyzetheargument.Thewordingofsometopicsinthetestmightvaryslightlyfromwhatispresentedhere.Also,becausetheremaybemultipleversionsofsometopicswithsimilaroridenticalwordingbutwithdifferenttaskinstructions,itisveryimportanttoreadyourtesttopicanditsspecifictaskdirectionscarefullyandrespondtothewordingasitappearsintheactualtest.
