Othertimes,Ieventhoughtaboutkillingmyself—Ijustfeltsotrapped.Ineverreallyreachedoutforhelpeither,asIfeltthattherewasn’tanyonewhocouldhavehelpedwithmysituation.

Whatturnedmylifearound,however,wasdiscoveringstreetdancing.Iwasintroducedtoitbyafriend,andIstartedtakingclassesatastudioinLondon.Afterafewweeks,Ibegantogooutandmeetalotofotherdancerstopracticeandtrainwiththemonaregularbasis.Itgavemeapurpose,andeventuallythehappinessIgainedfromithelpedmemanagemydepression.Thedancinghelpedmegetmylifeback,focusonmystudies,andgetthroughuniversity.

MyadvicetoanyonewhomightbegoingthroughsomethinglikeIwasistoreachoutforhelp.Thethingaboutlifeisthatitchanges,andyouneverknowwhatmightcomeyourway.IfsomeonehadsaidtomeduringthosedarkmomentsthatIwouldhavegoneontoachievethethingsIhave,Iwouldn’thaveeverbelievedit.

Whenyoudaydream,yourmindisallowedtothinkinwaysitnormallywouldnot.Becauseitisfreeofcontrol,itcancreatecompletelynewandout-of-the-boxideas.
