Manyseniorsfindthatapproachingacertainageintheircareersallowsthemthefreedomtostartvolunteeringwiththecommunityanddoingactivitiesabusycareerdidnotallowthemtimetodo.
Retirementisthestartofanothercareerlifeifyoukeeponworkingonothercompanies,"

Multigenerationalhouseholds
TheChinesetraditionofmultigenerationalhouseholdsmaybeinjeopardyaspensionsandsecuredlifetimeemploymentcontinuestodiminishinsizeandavailability.
AccordingtotheCensusandStatisticsDepartment'
s2006ElderlyProfileReport,37.9percentoftheelderlyliveinpublicrentalhousingand56.3percentinprivatepermanenthousing.About83percentoftheelderlylivewithfamilymembers(spouseand/orchildren)andabout10percentlivealone.

slimitedspaceandhighcostoflivingimpacttheabilityofhouseholdstosupportseniorfamilymembers.
