ScientistAlanRabinowitzispresidentofanorganizationdevotedtosavingwildcats.Oneday,whilestudyingamapofalltheknownareasjaguarslivein,Rabinowitzdecidedtoplayagameofconnectingthedots(点).Hedrewalinebetweenoneareaandanotherarea.Suddenlyhethoughtofanideathatcouldhelpsavethisthreatenedspecies.

Rabinowitzrealizedthatprotectingthepathwaysisjustasimportantasprotectingthehabitatsthemselves.Hebegananinternationalprojectcalled“PathoftheJaguar”tocheckthesepathwaysandmakesuretheywon’tbecomedeadends.Thingssuchasfactories,highwaysanddamswillstopjaguarinitstracks,forcingitoffcourse.
