　　HotelRwandaisafilmaboutaman.Itwasbasedonarealstoryofamanwhosaved1268people’slivesinamadnessgenocidal,whichhappenedinRwanda,1994.ThefilmwasdirectedbyTerryGeorge,2004.ThemainactorDonCheadleisnothandsomebutjustanordinaryman.Youprobablywillevennotrecognizehimwhenyouhappentomeethimonthestreet.Heactedaherobasedonatruestory,amanwhowasassimpleasheis,PaulRusesabagina.Paulisahero,arealman,whileaheroandarealmandoesn’talwaysneedtobehandsomeorattractiveintheappearance.TherearetwonationsinRwanda,hutuandtutsi.Paulisahutumanagerworkingfora4starshotelontown.Thehutuarmyplanedagenocidaltoclearoutallthetutsipeopleinruwanda.Thetutsipeopleweresufferingamadnessbloodbath.Over800,000peoplehadbeenkilledwithin100days.Paulhasatutsiwife,inordertoprotecthiswife,childrenandothertutsis;hetookthemtohideinthehotelRwanda.TherearemanywhitepeoplefromallovertheworldlivedinthishotelsothehotelisthesafestplaceinRwandatohide.Thereare80UNsoldiersinRwandabutonly4guardedinthehotelandallofthemarenotallowedtoshot.IfwesaythatPauljustwantedtosavehiswifeatthebeginning,afterrecognizedthatthereisnoonewouldcometohelpthetutsis,Paulthrowhimselfintothebreach.Hebribedthehutugeneralbywineandgold,usedouteverycoinofhistopurchasetherefugees’lives,ten,ahundred,2hundreds,3hundreds…moreandmoretutsirefugeesfleetothehotelwishingtosurvive.Tothem,Paulisanangelwhokeepsahopeforthosehopelesspeopleinthecalamity.Hisgoodnesshismercyisthekeytobealive.
