12.2Radiatedspuriousemissions

Thistestisperformedeitheronanoutdoortestsite,fulfillingtherequirementsof 

[GC4ofannex1],orinananechoicshieldedchamber,fulfillingtherequirementsof（[GC5ofannex1）].Performingthemeasurementintheanechoicshieldedchamberispreferred.Thesampleshallbeplacedatthespecifiedheightonthesupport.

Thetestmethoddescribedhasbeenwrittenformeasurementinananechoicshieldedchamber.Ifanoutdoortestsiteisusedthenadditionalprecautionsarenecessarytoensurecorrectmeasurement.Thesemeasuresarefamiliartotesthouseswhichperformspuriousemissionstestsandare:

a）Raise/lowerthetestantennathroughthespecifiedheightrangeduringboththeemissiondetectionandsubstitutionpartsofthetest.

b）Performaqualitativepre-searchinashieldedenvironmentfortestsiteswheretheambientRFenvironmentcanpreventthedetectionofspuriousemissionswhichexceedthelimit.

c）Detectemissionsatamoresensitivethresholdtothatspecifiedinsubclause12.2.1.4toallowfordestructiveinterferenceduetogroundplanereflectionsatthetestantennasearchheight.
