（二）一般现在时动词第三人称单数变化形式
当句子主语为第三人称单数的时候，英语动词在一般现在时的句中，须作一定的变化。
其变化规则与名词单数变复数相同。
具体见下表：

表（三）一般现在时常用时间状语
由于一般现在时主要表示经常性或习惯性的动作，所以，在句中就有一些表示性惯性或经常性的副词或短语去说明动作的经常性或习惯性。
现将于一般现在时相关的这些副词或短语，归纳在表中，供大家掌握。

WedomorningexerciseseverydayfromMondaytoFriday.星期一到星期五，我们每天都要做早擦。
其他表频度的短语
attimes（有时、偶尔）,onceaweek（month,year）每周（月、年）一次，nowandthen（时常）等
Hewritestohismotheronceamonth.他每月给母亲写一次信。
表（四）一般现在时的主要用法
用法
特别提醒
（1）表示经常性或习惯性的动作或存在的状态，常与表示频度的时间状语连用。
Mymotheroftendoeshousework.我妈妈经常做家务。
Myparentsgotoworkeveryday.我爸爸妈妈每天都去上班。
（2）表示主语现在的特征或性格
Heisveryexcited.他现在很激动。
Thebottleisfullofwater.瓶子里装满了水。
（3）表示客观事实或普遍真理
ChinaisintheeastofAsia.中国位于亚洲东部。
Thelighttravelsfasterthanthesound.光比声音传播得快。
在宾语从句中，如果从句反映的客观事实或普遍真理，动词用一般现在时。
如：
Thegeographyteachersaidtheearthisroundyesterday.地理老师昨天说，地球是圆的。
（4）在连词when,before,after,untilif,assoonas,引导的表示将来行为的状语从句中，用一般现在时表示将来。
Shewillbeateacheraftershegrowsup。
她长大后要当老师。
Ifitdoesn’traintomorrow,we’llhaveasportsmeeting.如果明天不下雨的话，我们将开运动会。
（5）英语俚语、警句或格言中
AllroadsleadtoRome.条条道路通罗马。
