同时,“现在的学生越来越不好教了----他们不识好歹,是非不分,没有正确的人生观、价值观,耽于幻想而又没有理想,没有危机感而又缺乏自信,惧怕失败因而不敢尝试,自以为是而不善与人合作,挑剔老师与同学而从不检视自我,渴望成功而又拒绝用功,追逐明星,崇尚名牌,借此标榜自己是拒绝平庸,张扬个性……”相信这样的抱怨与评价你不可能没听过,尽管它不指向全体。
教书育人的天职让每一个站三尺讲台的人不能视而不见,袖手旁观,而处于青春期的少男少女对所谓的道德说教颇为逆反,因此,如何做到春风化雨、润物无声便成了一门教育教学艺术。
笔者从教近十六年,从一个只管讲知识的讲师到一个包揽一切的真正意义的教师,经历了一个从蛹化蝶的过程。
例如,在讲解attitude一词时,笔者以国足前任教练米卢的名言为例-----Attitudemeanseverything(例1),又以曾在受训时见过的一句标语为例----AttitudeisasmallthingthatmakesABIGDIFFERENCE(例2),最后以笔者自身的感触,现身说事----Apositiveattitudemakesallthedifference(例3)。
而例1又可做mean一词的例句,例2有可做定语从句和makeadifference一词组的例句,例3又可做positive和makeadifference的例句,结果发现学生兴趣盎然,笔记更认真了,精神面貌也不同了。
笔者认为名言警句一方面富于哲理,浓缩人生精华,另一方面言简意赅,颇具震撼效果,所以,巧妙利用学生崇拜名人的心理,充分利用名人效应,强化教学效果。
以名言警句为例,既显示教师的学识与修养,赢得学生的尊敬,又避免了为造句而造句的无聊的拼词活动,从一开始就赋予词汇鲜活的情感,而被学生乐于接受,藉此,渗透关于人生观、理想、价值,关于成功与做人的品德教育,师生双方感觉颇好。
以下是笔者整理日常教学过程的一些做法,就教于同行,同时,希望能为您提供一些可资利用的材料。
在讲解以下单词、词组和语法时,辅以相关名言警句佐证。
