Abstract

Inordertorevealthesocialandhistoricalexperience,traditionalvaluesanddeep-rootedculturalpsychologycontainedinChineseandwesternfestivalculture,thisstudyprobesintothemeaningofChineseandwesternfestivalsandobjectivelyunderstandsthenationalityanduniquenessofChineseandwesternfestivalculture.TopromoteChinesecultureandtofriendlycommunicatewithwesterncountries,weneedtodiscardthedrossandselecttheessence.Whiledevelopingandexpandingtheexcellenttraditionalcultureofournationality,weshouldmakefulluseoftheadvantagesofwesterntraditionalfestivals,inordertopromoteandinheritoursplendidChinesetraditionalfestivalcultureandmaketheChineseculturekeepupwiththetimes.

ThestudymainlystartswiththebackgroundreasonsforthedifferencesbetweenChineseandwesternfestivals,thenselectsseveralfestivalsfromwesternfestivalsforcomparison,afterthatanalyzestheinfluenceofwesternfestivalsonChineseculture,andfinallydrawsaconclusion.

ThroughthecomparativeanalysisofthedifferencesbetweenChineseandwesternfestivalcustoms,thepaperrevealstheircharacteristics,withthepurposeofhelpingustounderstandChineseculturemoreobjectively,toknowandunderstandtheforeignculturethathaspositivesignificanceforusmoreprofoundlyandcomprehensively,soastoimprovetheabilityofcross-culturalcommunication.

TherearemanydifferencesbetweenChinaandwesterncountries.Chineseandwesternfestivalcultureshavedifferentfeaturesandtheirownadvantages.Botharetheessenceoftheircultures.OnlybycontinuouslyimprovingitsculturalcompetitivenesscanChinahavemoreopportunitiestobeknownbythewholeworld.

摘要

为了揭示中西节日文化所蕴含的社会历史经验、传统价值观念和深层文化心理，本研究挖掘中西方特色节日的内涵，客观认识中西节日文化的民族性及独特性。

取其精华，去其糟粕，让中华文化发扬光大，让中西方友好往来。

我们要在不断弘扬我国民族优秀传统特色文化的同时，尊重、借鉴并利用西方传统节日的精华，从而更好地发扬、传承灿烂的中华传统节日文化，建设与时俱进的中华文化。

调查主要通过以研究中西方节日差异产生的背景原因开始，其次从中西方节日中分别挑选出几个节日进行对比，接着从西方节日对中华文化的影响等方面进行分析，最后得出结论。

本文通过比较、分析中西节日习俗差异，揭示其特点，目的是帮助我们更客观地认识理解中华文化，更深刻全面地认识和理解对于我们有积极意义的外来文化，从而提高跨文化交际的能力。

中国和西方国家之间存在许多不同之处。

中西方的节日文化有着不同的特点，有各自的优势、长处。

两者都是各自文化的精髓。

中国只有不断提高文化竞争力，才能有更多的机会被世界认识。

WiththeInternetcommunicationtechnologiesbecomingmoreandmoredeveloped,ChinesepeoplehavedeepenedtheirunderstandingofforeignculturesthroughtheInternet.MostoftheaspectsoflifeandcultureinChinaandwesterncountriesareinfluencingeachotherbecauseofthedevelopmentofsociety,thediversificationofcultureandtheglobalizationoftheworld.Festivalismemorablebecauseitisanimportantdayinourlives.Everynationality,countryandregionhasspecialfestivalsofitsown.Somefestivalsarebasedontraditionalcustoms,someinreligion,someinhonorofapersonorevent,andsomeareartificial.

Forthepastfewyears,westernfestivalsarebecomingmoreprevalentinChina.Nevertheless,Chinahasalonghistoryforoverfivethousandyearsandsomeexcellenttraditions.TheseconditionshaveprovidedfertilesoilforthegrowthofChinesetraditionalfestivals,sothatitcantakeroot,growthandimprove.Insuchadiversifiedsociety,weshouldnotblindlychaseandadvocateforeignculture,standstill,refusetomakeprogressandacceptthem.Whiledevelopingandexpandingtheexcellenttraditionalcultureofournationality,weshouldshowrespectforwesterntraditionalfestivals,inthemeantime,learnthemeritsoftheirfestivalculturesandthentakeadvantageofthegoodpartsthataresuitableforus.ForthepurposeofimprovingandinheritingthesplendidChinesetraditionalfestivalcultureandmaketheChinesecultureskeepupwiththetimes.
