SystemforRotatingMachinery
Abstract
Monitoringthevibrationsignalsofrotatingmachinery,ulteriorly,assessingthesafetyofequipmentplaysasignificantroleinensuringthesecurityofequipmentandinsavingmaintenancefee.Thispaperintegratedtheideaof“configuration”intheindustrycontrolsoftware,developedthe“flexible”network-basedonlinemonitoringandfaultdiagnosissystem.Thenetworktopology,configurationmodule,database,dataacquisitionworkstationandmonitoringcomponentswerepresented.Withthesmartdataacquisitionstrategyandstrongadaptivemonitoringtools,thesystemcanbeappliedonkindsofrotatingmachinery,andthepracticalapplicationofthesystemwasintroduced.

CONCLUSION
Basedonthedevelopmenttrendofthenetwork-basedonlinemonitoringanddiagnosissystem,thispaperintroducedtheideaof“flexible”ofICSandthesmartdataacquisitionstrategy,developedtheconfigurableandsmartonlinemonitoranddiagnosissystemwithstrongflexibility.Thesystemcanbeappliedonkindsofrotatingmachinery.Thesmartsignalanalysistoolscanprovidetheappropriatediagnosismethodkindsofequipment,hencecanleveluptheaccuracyoffaultdiagnosisandconditionevaluation.
I.INTRODUCTION
Withthedevelopmentofthemoderntechnology,avarietyofrotatingmachinery(suchassteamturbine,fan,windturbine,etc.)raisesthelevelofautomaticoperation.Duetothesignificantrolesoftherotatingmachineryinthemodernproductionprocess,toensurethesafety,reliability,economicalandoptimizedoperation,andtoevaluationofthe
conditionofthecurrentequipmenthavebecomeveryimportantresearchfields.Thereinto,conditionmonitoringandfaultdiagnosishavebeenputmoreattention[1].
Thedatabasetechnologyandnetworktechnologywereintroducedinthecurrentonlinemonitorandfaultdiagnosissystemforrotatingmachinery.Itnotonlyenhancedthetechnologyofonlineconditionmonitorandprovidedmoresufficientandreliabledataforthefaultdiagnosis,butalso
madeitpossibletosharethemachineryinformation,ulteriorlytoestablishthefaultanalysisanddiagnosiscenterinthespecialinstituteandprovidetheremotetechniquesupportforfactory[2,3,4].
However,fortherequirementsofequipmentmanagementnowadays,thecurrentnetwork-basedonlinemonitoringsystemremainssomedefectsasfollows:
(a)themeasurepoint(MP),theinterfacesofthesoftwareandthehardwarehadbeenfixedbeforedevelopingofthemonitoringsystem,thereforeitwasdifficulttoadaptthemodernplantwithnumerousandvariousequipment;(b)theobjectofthecurrentsystemwasalwaysthemachineryorequipment,anditwasdifficulttoachievethegoalofcentralizedmanagementtothemodernplant;(c)thedataacquisitionstrategywassimpleandcannotbechangedwiththechangeoftheequipmentstate,anditwaseasilyleadtothemissofthecriticalfaultdataandeffectedtheaccuracyofthefaultdiagnosis;(d)thetoolsandmethodsforsignalanalysisandfaultdiagnosisweresimpleandcouldnotmeet
thedemandofinformationfusion[5,6].
Therefore,developingthesystemefficientlyandreliablybecomeakeyprobleminthedevelopmentofmodernmonitoringsystem.ThesuccessfulapplicationofIndustrialControlSoftware(ICS)providesagoodideaforthedevelopmentofnetwork-basedOnlineMonitoringandDiagnosisSystem(OMDS).AlthoughtheICSemphasizeoncontrolfunctionwhiletheOMDSputmoreattentiononthedataacquisition,signalanalysisandsaveoflong-runningdata,the“configurable”approachduringthedevelopmentofICScanmaketheOMDSwelladapttovariousmachineryandbecome“flexible”.Additionally,theOMDSbecomemoresmartedbyintegratingtheinformationfusionmethodsandneutralnetworkwithnormalfrequency-spectrumanalysismethods,andenhancethecapabilityoffaultdiagnosisandsafetyassessmentforrotatingmachinery[7].
