TheExecutiveSummarycomesbeforethetableofcontentsandisintendedtosummarizetheentirestudyinonedetailedparagraph.Theideaistoprovidethemostpertinentinformationforstakeholderswhodonothavetimetoreadtheentirereport.Itisimportanttocomerightoutandprovideoneortwomajorfindings,suchas,“ThemajorityofuserspreferredprototypeAoverB.”Thatwaythereaderdoesnothavetodigforthemostimportantinformation.

Shouldincludeasentenceortwoforeachofthefollowing:

2. PurposeoftheStudy

Thissectionofthereportcanalsobeconcise.Ifyouarecomparingtwoprototypes,forexample,talkaboutthecriticaldifferencesandwhatthestakeholderswerehopingtofindintheusabilitysessions.Agoodpurposesectionshouldgivedescribetheproducttestedandtheusabilitygoalsbeingmeasured.
