句中的werebuilt是过去时的被动语态结构。
在句子的主动形式是：

问题二：
havethewallslinkedandextended该结构中的have是使役动词，意思是：
“使、让”，havesth./sb.done意思是“使某物或某人被......（强调动作由别人来完成）”，其中的linked和extended是过去分词，表示被动。
问题三：
在Ittookthemmorethantenyearstobuilditunderterriblconditions.句子中it用作形式主语，真正的主语是不定式短语tobuilditunderterribleconditions.这是一个很重要的句型，其结构是：
Ittakes/took+sb.+sometime+todosth.意思是“做某事花费了某人多少时间”。
问题四：
Look,onthetopofthemountainistheGreatWall.句中的onthetopofthemountain不是句子的主语，本句是倒装句结构，它的正常语序应是：
