Sincewehavefoundthebodylanguagecanaccuratelyreflectourinner
emotioncondition,wecanalsomakethebodylanguageapositivemeans,
whichmotivatesourpsychologicalstatustobebetter.Peoplefeeltense
whenCortisollevelishigh,sotheymaycurlupbodyordodge
themselvesasphysicalreaction.Onthecontrast,ifwepretendtoberelax
andconfident,makingbodylanguageroused,openingshoulders,and
smilingwithease,thenourtestosteronelevelwillrisewhilecortisolwill
beinhibited.Tosomeextent,oncewefakedtoberelaxandconfident,
onedayitwillbecomereal.AsAmysaid,‘Fakeittillyoumakeit.Fakeit
tillyoubecomeit.’
Icannotagreemoreaboutheridea,becauseIhadthesame
experiencebefore.Aftergraduatedfromprimaryschool,mycharacter
totallychanged,whichduetoaperson.SheistheoneIadmiredmostin
primaryschoolbecauseshecanbeveryconfidentinanyoccasion.
Everydaysheraisedherheadproudly,talkedwithothersinhumorous
wayandactedneitherhumblenorpushyjustlikeaqueen.However,i
usuallycurledupinmyseat,lookeddownasansweringquestions,darednotcontactwiththeone'
seyes.Itiscortisolthatplaysthemainrole,
whichleadsustobepowerless.WhenIcametomiddleschool,Istarted
tochange.IpretendedtobeanotherherthoughIknowIamanimpostor,
Istilltriedtoappearconfidentandbrave.IfakedittillImadeit,and
finallyonedayIreallybecameit.Learningtotweakthisalittlebit,it
couldsignificantlychangethewayyourlifeunfolds.
SoIwanttosay,risingyourheadproudly,openingyourshoulder
withconfidence,holdingyourhandsuptotop,answeringquestionsas
loudlyasyoucan.Youarewhatyoudo.Youarewhatyousay.Youare
whatyourbodylanguageexpresses,becauseyourbodylanguageshapes
whoyouare.
