　　years.throughtheseyears’working,ireallycometolovethis

　　job.besides,asthehusbandofmybeloved,thefatherofmy8-year-olddaughter,andthesonofmyoldparents,ialsolovemyfamily,ahappy

　　family.

　　however,ithasbeenreallyhardtocoordinatemyworkandmy

　　family.

　　it’sgenerallyconsideredgreattobeanairtrafficcontrollerbythepublic,forthejobisbelievedtobewell-paidandquite

　　easy.iwasalsooneofthembeforeistartedthe

　　work.butthingshavebeenentirelydifferentfromwhatiusedto

　　think.asanairtrafficcontrollerofthenewcentury,we’refacingtasksandbarriersgreaterandharderthanever,thatis,wehavetoensurethesafetyandorderofthefast-developingcivil

　　aviation.we’reburdenedwithpressure,responsibilities,thetrustofhundredsofpilots,thelivesoftensofthousandsofpassengers,andthehopesofmillionsof

　　families.everystepwetake,everywordwesayisconnectedtothesafetyof

　　passengers.anddisastersmayoccurifwe’reevenalittlebit

　　careless.then,howcanthatbeeasy?

　　asamanwhoownsafamily,ialsohavetotakecareofmy

　　family.still,itisn’tthat

　　easy.sinceitookthejob10yearsago,ihaven’thadenoughtimetobewithmy

　　family.somanyfestivalshaveispendwithmicrophones,butnotmyfamilyandfriends,justbecausemyjobneeds

　　me.somanytimeshavemywifecomplainedaboutmyreturninghomelateandhavingmealsoutsideoften,justbecausemyjobneeds

　　me.andsomanytimes,mymomordadissickinbed,buticannotbetherewiththemintime,justbecausemyjobneeds

　　me.icannotfullydevotemyselftomyfamilybecausemyjobneedsme,alotofpeopleneed

　　me.andagain,asamanwithafamily,howcanthatbeeasy?

　　eventhoughi’mnotcompetentasafather,ahusband,andason,istilllovemy

　　family.mydaughteroncesaidthatitwasherhappiesttimetoseemebackfrom

　　work.andit’sthesamewith

　　me.i’mpleasedandgratefultoseethatmyfamilycansupportandunderstandmyworkandmylittledevotionto

　　them.ihavemademanysacrificesasanairtraffic

　　controller.ireallyfeelsorryformy

　　family.butasihelppilotsfindtheirdestinationsunderterribleweatherconditions,andthenhear“thanks”fromthem,i’m

　　satisfied.andasiseeplanestakingoffandlandingsafely,andmakesurethathundredsmorefamiliescangettogether,i’m

　　comforted.ievenseemtobeabletoseethehappysmilesontheir

　　faces.

　　suchismyjob,thoughicannotenjoymuchofthehappinessmyfamilybringstome,icanexperiencethesenseofresponsibilitythroughmy

　　work.i’llneverregretthis,regretchoosingmy

　　job.itisthroughtheseyearsthatiknowwhatresponsibilityanddevotionreally

　　mean.anditisthroughtheseyearsthatirealizewhatfamilyreallymeanstome---supportingand
